Please don’t send screenshots of anything you wouldn’t want us to see. For a bug report, the iOS version, the app version (Settings → About) and a short description of what happened is all we need.

Common questions

Where is my data?

On your iPhone. Prefront has no accounts and no server. Deleting the app deletes everything. See the privacy policy.

How do I turn the content filter off?

Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → DNS → Automatic. If you set up the accountability lock, the apps you chose will lock until the filter is back on or your partner enters their PIN.

How do I remove Screen Time access?

Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time access → Prefront → turn off. This removes every lock the app has set.

I forgot my partner’s PIN

Only your partner can enter or reset it, by design. If you set the PIN yourself for testing, remove Screen Time access as described above and set the lock up again.
